The Food & Agricultural Commodity Systems (FACS) Community builds on the neutral convening power of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to serve the learning needs of more than 650 project practitioners, global change makers, sector specialists and local leaders from government, business, international organizations and civil society.

With members from 34 countries working on 12 food and agricultural commodities, the FACS Community supports the capacity development and knowledge management needs of a range of global and regional programmes, including the Food Systems, Land Use and Restoration Impact Program (FOLUR).

The FOLUR Community, hosted within the broader FACS Community, serves as an indispensable digital hub for stakeholders engaged in FOLUR.

Designed to connect professionals across country projects, the Community fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and impactful actions. It provides a dynamic platform where members can stay informed of updates, engage in global conversations, learn about the FOLUR global offering, and connect with peers from diverse FOLUR Country Projects.

Members of the FOLUR Community gain exclusive access to a range of services and opportunities offered through the FOLUR Global Platform, enhancing their capacity to drive meaningful change within their respective regions across integrated landscape management, sustainable value chains, land restoration, gender equality and more.

The FOLUR Community also supports various events — from in-person gatherings and conferences to virtual workshops and trainings — that facilitate deeper engagement and learning opportunities. By leveraging South-South knowledge exchanges and tailored digital discussion forums, it ensures that insights and best practices are shared efficiently at the global level between all FOLUR country initiatives.
